Bonceil Atwell Garrand

Bonceil “Bonnie” Atwell Garrand, 68, of Green Cove Springs, FL went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 17, 2007. Born on September 1, 1938 to parents William Andrew “Andy” and Catherine Cuchens Atwell in Niceville, FL, she had been a resident of the Green Cove Springs community since 1977, coming from New York. Of the Baptist faith, she was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and she loved the Lord and her church. She worked as an office manager for Morrison Cafeteria for many years and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her beloved son, Paul Garrand (Patty) of Rouses Point, NY; one sister, Barbara Highsmith (John Lewis) of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Walter B. Atwell (Helen) and Burton W. Atwell (Betty), all of Ozark, AL; and her grandson Jeffery which was her pride and joy; as well as a host of extended family and many friends. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am officiated by Reverend Mike Madaris. Interment will take place in Rocky Bayou Cemetery, Niceville, FL at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 21, 2007.
