Rose Harris

Rose Harris, 89, of Penney Farms, FL, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010. She was born on August 20, 1921 in Westville, NJ to parents, Frederick and Rose Myers. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She had formerly resided in St. Augustine, FL for 24 years and was active in her church, Moultrie Baptist Church in St. Augustine. Mrs. Harris spent much of her time volunteering and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, George Harris; sons, George Harris, Jr. and James Harris and 2 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Penney Farms Retirement Community Residents Aid Fund, P.O. Box 555, Penney Farms, FL 32079.
