Stephen Donald Devens

Stephen Donald Devens, 65, of Middleburg, FL, went to Heaven on December 18, 2010. He was a truck driver and was a Vietnam War Veteran, serving his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was preceded in death by his father, James Devens and step-mom, Stacia Devens and his mother, Louise Andrew Gullus. Survivors include his loving wife, Sheila Spencer Devens; brother, Fredrick; sister, Theresa; children, Steve Devens, Louise Menendez, Denise Wojiak, Richard Devens, James Devens, Lisa Devens Billings, Laura Spencer Richardson and Brian Devens and 16 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 24, 2010 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Fredric Freese officiating. The family will receive friends in the chapel Friday morning beginning at 9:00 am until service time. Military honors will be given at the service.
