Lenny Brown

Lenny Brown, 67, of Callahan, FL, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010. He was born on February 15, 1943 in Jacksonville, FL to parents, James and Marceline Collins Brown, Sr. Mr. Brown was an electrician for many years and was a member of the IBEW Local Union 177. He had lived all his life in the Jacksonville area and enjoyed restoring old cars and spending time in his mountain cabin. Mr. Brown was of the Baptist faith, attending Black Pond Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James T. Brown, Sr. and Marceline Collins Brown; his wife, Brenda J. Brown; his son, Len B. Brown and his brother, James T. Brown, Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Walters (Rusty) and Tammy Gee; sisters, Mary Stratton (Harry) and Michelle Losco (Mike); grandchildren, Ashley Walters, Angel Brown, Jesse Walters, Taylor Gee and Victoria Reed and great-grandchild, Hunter Brown. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Black Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Hunt and Rev. Gerald Powers officiating. The family will receive friends that morning in the church from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Keystone Heights Cemetery.
