Randall Scott Pond

Randall Scott Pond, 39, passed away December 31, 2010 in a tragic auto accident. He was born on August 9, 1971 in Jacksonville, FL to parents Dennis and Linda Pond. He was of the Baptist faith and was baptized at Paul Avenue Baptist Church as a child. Randall was a native of Florida and lived most of his life in Middleburg. He loved fishing, being outdoors and was nicked name Grizzly Adams. Randall was an awesome cook who enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He was a loving son, brother, nephew and friend who will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Randall was predeceased by his aunt, Nancy Sexton. Survivors include his parents Dennis and Linda Pond, brother, Michael W. Greer, Jr. (Dawn); sister, Rebecca Sam Pond; nieces, Bailyn and Riley Vinson; nephews, Mitchell Greer and Wade Greer, III; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 pm on Wednesday January 5, 2011 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officating.
