Gladys T. Taggart, 99, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011. She was born on November 13, 1911 in Green Cove Springs, FL to parents, Raleigh and Hattie Thomas. Mrs. Taggart had been a licensed cosmetologist from 1933 until 2003 and was the owner of Campbell’s Beauty Parlor. She had been a lifelong resident of Green Cove Springs and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her garden and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husbands, William “Bud” J. Campbell and Rev. Lester Taggart. She is survived by two step-daughters; several step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Sue Shealey and family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 14, 2011 at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Kimbrell and Rev. Paul Estes officiating. Visitation will be in the church Friday from 1:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
