Margie Doerr

Margie Doerr passed away January 12, 2011 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 82. She was 1 of 14 children born to Elton and Julia Cranmer on January 26, 1928 in Vincetown, NJ. Margie worked 15 years for the State of New Jersey as a Revenue Department Clerk in the Taxation Division. She married Clifford Fuller on December 27, 1948. They divorced on November 13, 1970. Clifford was also a Moosehaven resident. She later married Mr. Charles Doerr. She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose when she joined Pemberton, MD Chapter and transferred to Elkton, Maryland Chapter #969 on June 10, 1979. She was a behind the scene worker doing anything needed and volunteered many weekends as a bartender. She always enjoyed the Moose picnics. Margie came to Moosehaven on June 22, 2010. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Merry and Charlene Fenimore, five sisters, Virginia Hazel, Betty Cranmer, Gail Hollaran, Vivian DeChamps and Norma Davis and three brothers Earl, Howard and Leo Cranmer. Funeral Service held Monday, January 17, 2011 at 10:00 AM followed by burial in the Moosehaven Mausoleum. Services conducted by Rev. Helen Taylor and Opportunity Chapter.
