Ada Marie Johnson

Ada Marie Johnson, 62, of Orange Park, FL passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007. Born to parents Earl and Lenor Jones on May 21, 1944 in Johnson County, KY, she had been a resident of the Orange Park community for twenty two years. Of the Old Regular Baptist faith, she attended Little Ruth Old Regular Baptist Church and loved working as a Registered Nurse at Orange Park Medical Center in labor and delivery for twenty one years. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles “Buddy” Jones; and three sisters, Barbara, Donitta, and Geneva. She is survived by her loving husband of twenty two years, Joe Johnson; three sons, Anthony Johnson (Sharon) of Taylor, MI, Michael Johnson (Patty) of Palm Coast, and Joseph Brian Johnson of Middleburg; two daughters, Dedria Brewer (James) of Ecorse, MI and Dewana Westmoreland (Tony) of Middleburg; one brother, Grady Jones (Libby) of Johnson County, KY; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 2, 2007 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at Little Ruth Old Regular Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 11:00 am at Little Ruth Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders Garland Deel, Doug McCarty, Albert Hamilton, and Terry Fuller officiating.
