Ruth Irene Gerhardt

Ruth Irene Gerhardt, 69, passed away January 25, 2011 at her home in Green Cove Springs. She was born in Green Cove Springs on October 20, 1941 to Irene and Woodrow Thomas Sr. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, William Gerhardt, in December 2009. Mrs. Gerhardt is survived by her daughter, Dayla Libby; mother, Irene Thomas; granddaughter, Shelby Clevinger, all of Green Cove Springs; brother, C.W. (Mary) Thomas, Jr.; nephews, C.W. (Julie) Thomas III and James Kevin (Lisa) Thomas, all of Missouri; one aunt, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2011 in Hickory Grove Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Baker officiating.
