Marilyn Hillard

Marilyn Hillard, 76, of Orange Park, FL passed away on Friday, February 4, 2011. She was born on April 9, 1934 in Pittsfield, MA to parents, Charles and Dorothy Hillard. She was of the Christian faith. She dearly loved the Lord and will be missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Hillard, husband, James Lawrence Hillard Sr., children, Thomas and Dorothy Taylor, and grandson, Jeffrey Michael Griffis. She is survived by her sons, James Lawrence Hillard, Jr. of Pittsfield, MA, Richard Taylor of Palatka, FL, James Lawrence Hillard III of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Cheryl Jackson of Stillwater, NY, Debra Taylor of Cromwell, CT and Marilyn Coleman of Orange Park, FL; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, February 10, 2011 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Craig Bowen of Lakeside Community Church officiating. Visitation will be in the chapel one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Community Hospice of N.E. FL.
