James Lee McCray

James Lee McCray, 65, passed away at his Green Cove Springs residence surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 9, 2007. He was born to parents Ralph and Rodie McCray on August 17, 1941 in Midway, AL. He moved to the Green Cove Springs area in 2002 from Newark, NY and attended Sunrise Baptist Church. He worked in production and enjoyed fishing, gardening and yard work. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Mr. McCray was preceded in death by one son, Jeremiah Jay Johnson and is survived by his beloved wife Louise McCray; two sons, Philip Johnson of Green Cove Springs and Jacob Johnson of Newark, NY; Tracey Johnson of Newark, NY and Terrie Johnson of St. Johns County, FL; and one sister, Rose Upshaw of Newark, NY.
