Juanita Stacy

Juanita Stacy, 77, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011. She was born on October 12, 1933 in Freeborn, KY to parents, Clayton and Carrie Baker. Mrs. Stacy had worked as a dietician and enjoyed shopping, playing bingo and being with her loving grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Earmine Stacy; children, Sandy Looney, Steve Stacy and Michael Stacy, Sr. and sisters, Corinne and Carline. She is survived by her children, Janice Mullins, David Stacy, Sr., Sherry Watts and Sheila Almeida; brothers, Jerry and Paul Baker; sisters, Lois, Pauline, Brenda, Ruthie, Josey, Wanda and Ann and grandchildren, Danny Looney, David Stacy, Jr., Michael Stacy, Jr., Misty Turner, Carrie Johnson, Juanita Stiers, Myrna Stacy, John Stacy, Brandon Stacy, Melissa Stacy, Geannie Stacy, Sara Mullins, Kayla Monk, Lynn Stacy, Becky Stacy, Nikkie Stacy, Zachary Stacy, Timmy Looney and Payton Stacy and 24 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 18, 2011 at Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Ronnie Surrency officiating. Interment will follow at Little Ruth Cemetery.
