Thomas Christopher "Chris" Doan

Thomas Christopher “Chris” Doan, 39, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011. He was born on August 19, 1971 in Green Cove Springs to parents, Tom and Faye Doan. Chris was a 1989 graduate of Clay High School and loved collecting knives and football cards. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle as well as fishing. Chris was a Florida Gator fan and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Tom and Faye Doan; wife, Jessica Doan; children, Gracen Brooke Doan and Christopher Ross Doan; grandmother, Anna Thomas; in-laws, Delton and Sybil Kilpatrick; brother-in-law, Delton Kilpatrick; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and he leaves behind a multitude of animal babies. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, February 18, 2011 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 19, 2011 at South Middleburg Baptist Church, 4565 Alligator Blvd., Middleburg, FL with Rev. Nick Kudyk and Rev. Jimmy Guffey officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Chris’s name may be made to Community Hospice of NE Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257.
