John M. Shaw

John M. Shaw, 67, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2007. He was born to parents James and Edna (Manning) Shaw on March 15, 1940 in Springfield, OH and moved to Florida forty years ago. Mr. Shaw was of the Baptist faith and worked as a driver in the trucking industry and enjoyed mechanic work. He was a family man that loved children and enjoyed spending his free time fishing. John was predeceased by his parents; one son, Charles Edward Shaw; one daughter, Barbara Gayle Shaw; and his brother, Jerry Edward Shaw. He is survived by two sons, Michael J. Shaw of Springfield, OH and Michael James Shaw of Hilliard, FL; one daughter, Rainie Jeanette Shaw of Hilliard, FL; five sisters, Alice Joyce Settle and Barbara Thomas, both of Jacksonville, FL, Nancy Margaret Curry of Waverly, OH, Beverly Liff of Columbus, OH, and Darlene Cleland of Bellbrook, OH; numerous grandchildren; and close friends, Glenn and Linda Waters of Jacksonville, FL. Graveside funeral services will be held at Riverside Memorial Park on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 11:00 am officiated by Reverend Mike Madaris.
