Helen Harris Heck

Helen Harris Heck, 92, passed away February 26, 2011. She was born on March 10, 1918 to Patrick and Helen Christie McQuattie in Lorain, OH. Mrs. Heck had moved to Fleming Island from Jupiter, FL in 2006 and was Methodist by faith. She was a graduate of Kent State University and was an Elementary School Teacher. She was an avid gardener and golfer and master bridge player. Mrs. Heck was a beloved mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Heck and is survived by her daughters, Kathleen A. Vergon (Blake) and Sharon J. MacGregor (Donald); brother, Edward McQuattie (Martha); grandchildren, Jeffrey MacGregor (Rebecca), Shelly Hamilton (William), Kelly Reynolds (Alex) and Kimberly Juhnke (Corey), and nine great-grandchildren.
