Katherine Ellen McCoy

Katherine Ellen McCoy, 85, passed away March 5, 2011 in Orange Park. She was born July 13, 1925 in Detroit, MI to Walter L. and Mable Fredericks Parry. She had served in the U.S. Navy and had lived in the Middleburg area since 1959. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul D. McCoy;her son, Paul L. McCoy and step-grandson, Joseph Daw. She is survived by her daughters, Katherine (Duane) Garrett, Dana (Donald) Maloy; son Kevin (Patricia) McCoy; daughter-in-law, Donna McCoy; sisters, Shirley Foote and Carol Thompson; grandchildren, Sean Bente, Dawn Lalande, Clint Allen, Natalie Allen, Eric Allen, Kris McCoy, Kari Ann Hitchcock, Kimberly McCoy, Joseph McCoy and Amanda McWilliams and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2011 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
