LCDR Gene A. Frame USN (Ret)

LCDR Gene A. Frame USN (Ret), 80, passed away March 11, 2011 in Orange Park, FL. He was born in San Francisco, CA to Allen and Opal Gettman Frame on January 3, 1931. Mr. Frame had served our country in the U.S. Navy for over 26 years, serving during the Korean Conflict and also spending time in Vietnam. He began his career as an enlisted sailor before being selected for the LDO program and becoming an officer. Mr. Frame had served a number of years at NAS Jacksonville and retired as the Assistant Supply Officer while onboard the USS Roosevelt. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years, Patricia, in April of 2010. Survivors include his sons, Michael (Patricia) Frame of Middleburg, FL, Charles (Karen) Frame of Denver, CO and Thomas (Teresa) Frame of Jacksonville, FL and his granddaughter Kathryn Frame of Denver, CO. Graveside services with full military honors conferred will be held at 12:30 pm Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd. with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
