Myra Jean Moody

Myra Jean Moody, 67, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011. She was born on March 28, 1943 in Jacksonville, FL to parents, Walter and Frances Batten Hinson. Mrs. Moody had been a LPN and had lived in the local area since 1959. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, William L. “Bill” Moody. Survivors include her children, John (Beverly), Theresa (Vance), Rhonda (Joey), Wayne (Donna), Charles (Kelly) and Byron (Michelle); brother, Walter (Phyllis) Hinson; sister, Mary (Bill) Jones; 6 nephews; 1 niece; over 34 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 18, 2011 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Charles Pilkinton officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.
