Mary Howard Silcox

Mary Silcox, 77, passed away March 18, 2011 at her home in Middleburg. She was born on August 28, 1933 in Starke, FL and had lived in Middleburg her entire life. She was a longtime member of Black Creek Baptist Church and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed. Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, Tommy Silcox; daughters, Tanya (Raymond) Chapin and Sabrina (Sport) Nobles; sister, Viola Mishler; grandchildren, Paul and Mary Jacqueline “MJ” Riddle, Zak, Jake, Trey and Tanner Nobles; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Broadus-Raines Chapel, 501 Spring St., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 at Black Creek Baptist Church 3904 SR 16 W, Penney Farms, FL, with Rev. Bobby Register and Rev. Ron Robertson officiating.
