Mary "Mitzie" Cabic

Mary “Mitzie” Cabic, 91, passed away March 19, 2011 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center in Orange Park, FL. She was born to Mathew and Eva Nagy Vujnovich on May 29, 1919 in Highland Park, MI. Mitzie married Edward Cabic on March 4, 1942 in Detroit, MI. They had three daughters, Patricia, Kathleen and Sharon. She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose in Gardena, CA, Lodge #2062 when her husband Ed joined in 1962. They later transferred to Torrance, CA where she joined Torrance Chapter #44. She earned her Academy of Friendship. Mitzie and Ed came to Moosehaven on September 16, 1986 where she resided for 24 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Ed, daughter, Patricia and great-grandson, Jessie. She is survived by daughters Kathleen Milan of Bullhead City, AZ, Sharon Cabic of OR; grandchildren, Colleen Quinones of Perris, CA, Helen Montano of Apple Valley, CA, Tammy Terris of AZ, Billy Duke and Bobby Waldie; great-grandchildren, Louis, Julie, and Denice Quinones; great-great-grandchildren, Jonathan Aguilar, Lillian, Anthony Jesse and Natalie Quinones and a new baby coming any day.
