Floyd L. Geoghagan

Floyd L. Geoghagan, 77, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011. He was born on October 18, 1933 in Green Cove Springs, FL to parents, Thomas and Eva Geoghagan. He was in the United States Marine Corps and served during the Korean War. Mr. Geoghagan was an aircraft mechanic, working at NAS Jacksonville and was a member of NARFE. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and enjoyed working on cars. Mr. Geoghagan was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 54 years, Linda “Meme” Geoghagan. He is survived by his children, Sharon Potter of Green Cove Springs, FL, Shelia Barrier (John) of Jacksonville, FL, Johnny Geoghagan of Green Cove Springs, FL and Tim Geoghagan (Stephanie) of Orange Park, FL; brothers, Louis Geoghagan (Margie) and Leslie Geoghagan (Violet); sister, Charlotte Musik; grandchildren, Ian Barrier, Eric Barrier, Tyler Booker, Christopher Booker, Emily Shannon, Andrew Geoghagan (Megan), Adam Geoghagan and Aaron Geoghagan and great-grandchildren, Brandon Barrier and Connor Geoghagan. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Bro. Carrol Hall and Bro. James Painter officiating.
