Helen Church

Helen Church, 80, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Monday, May 7, 2007. She was born to parents Thomas Jefferson and Etta May Mullins on May 16, 1926 in Pike County, KY and spent many years as a Florida “snowbird” traveling between Florida and Buchanan, VA. She had been a member of Little Ruth Old Regular Baptist Church since 1964 and loved gardening and cooking. Her husband of 56 years, Dexter Church, preceded her in death in 2004. She is survived by two beloved children, Ron Church (Nancy) of Gastonia, NC and Sharon Carver (Randy) of Middleburg, FL; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be held in Penney Farms Cemetery on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 11:00 am officiated by David Church and Jeffery Church.
