Mary Dorothy Wright Hughes

Mary Dorothy Wright Hughes, 82, of Middleburg, FL, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 in the presence of her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William Lee Hughes; brother, Ralph G. Wright; 6 children, James Lee Hughes (Barbara), Robert William Hughes (Wendy), John Wayne Hughes (Carol), William Earl Hughes, Kathleen Ann Watson (Jerry) and MaryEllen Hendrix (Sam). She was blessed with 14 grandchildren, Jimmy, Lisa, Robbie, Carla, Amy, Melinda, Shawn, Brandy, Amanda, Danny, Timmy, Katie, Michael, Kelly and Kelsey and 15 great-grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends. She considered as family all who walked thru her door as she made everyone feel welcomed and loved. Mrs. Hughes was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Middleburg and a founding member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jacksonville. Visitation will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 9:45 am until 10:30 am. Rosary service will be from 10:30 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with Fr. Andy Blaszkowski as Celebrant.
