Roy Marvin Jackson, Sr., 66, of Green Cove Springs, passed away April 17, 2011 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born in Ty Ty, GA on September 7, 1944 to Henry and Inez Brown Jackson. He was an Iron Worker by trade and had lived in Green Cove Springs since 1989, moving his family here from North Jacksonville. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Geraldine, in 2005, his parents, and 2 sisters. He is survived by his sons, Roy M. Jr. (Serena), Ray (Rebecca), and Richard (Connie) Jackson; daughter, Tracy Crews (Bradley); brother, Carl Jackson (Debbie); sisters, Ann Ingram (Kenny), Linda Kestler (Paul), Robin Jackson, Geneva Gilbreath (David), Carolyn Rowe (John), Sheila Dotson (Greg); grandchildren, Steven, Ricky, Alicia, Melissa, Rachel, Erica, Brandon, Michael, Karissa, Tatum, Paige, Brianna and Bailei; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Alana, Madison and Lilah. The family will receive friends in the Broadus-Raines Chapel Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Congregational Holiness Church in Green Cove Springs with Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating.
