Glenda Faye Williams

Glenda Faye Williams, 69, passed away June 4, 2011 in Orange Park, FL. She was born March 2, 1942 in Green Cove Springs to David and Evelyn Guthrie Knight. She was a member of Decoy Baptist Church and had been the Manager of Clay Springs Apartments and the Fina Convenience stores. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Williams was predeceased by her parents; brother, Gary Allen (Millie) Knight; and daughter, Patricia Ann Grubbs. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Marion Williams; children, Toby (June) Grubbs, Rhonda (Darrell) Tucker, Melinda Grubbs and David (Opal Milam) Grubbs; step-sons, Ricky (Carol) and David (Sarah) Williams; brothers, Donald (Connie), Jimmy, Mike (Linda), Terry (Karla), Timothy (Loretta) and Tony (Karen) Knight; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the Broadus-Raines Chapel, Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2011 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Charlie Hunt officiating.
