Harvey Lee Hooten, Sr.

Harvey Lee Hooten, Sr., 68, passed away July 1, 2011. Mr. Hooten was born on March 31, 1943 in Tampa, FL. He had retired from the U.S. Navy in 1981 after 20 years of dedicated service and two tours of duty in Vietnam. Mr. Hooten had been a resident of Jacksonville since 2004. He was predeceased by his mother, Juanita Smith Hancock, and brother, Edward O’Barr. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jill Shank Hooten of Jacksonville; son, Harvey Lee (Faith) Hooten, Jr. of Bryant, IN; daughter, Kelly Hooten of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Kristiana and Dalton and great-granddaughter, Autumn.
