Lois Marie Babcock

Lois Marie Babcock, 87, passed away on Sunday July 3, 2011. Lois was a mother and wife of 67 years to Hugh Babcock, Sr. She leaves behind four sons, Hugh Jr., Gary, Roger (Brenda) and Alan; eight grandchildren, Jason, Gennifer, Shannon, Jessica, Sheila, Shelly, Mellissa and Nathan. Lois was the youngest of ten children including brothers, Curtis, Gene, Sam, Raymond and Albert; sisters, Louise, Sally, Rosa and Ruby. All were born at home in Georgia with the exception of Lois who was born in Jacksonville. She worked hard for her children and always supported them whether they were right or wrong. She will be missed. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on July 16, 2011 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 5042 Timuquana Rd. Jacksonville, FL.
