Susan Michelle Bumpers

Susan Michelle Bumpers, 33, of Orange Park, FL passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007. Born to parents Elvin R. and Violet Bumpers in Charlotte, NC on March 4, 1974, she moved to Orange Park when she was two years old. Susan worked very hard to earn her Master’s Degree in Counseling and loved working as a substance abuse counselor. She was a big fan of Marilyn Monroe and enjoyed the ocean and cruising. She was also an animal lover with a free spirit and many friends that will forever cherish her memory. Susan is survived by her parents, Elvin and Violet; one brother, Elvin R. Bumpers, Jr.; one sister, Carol Alda; and her beloved basset hound, Charlie. The family will host a gathering of Susan’s friends in the chapel of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home on Saturday, June 16, 2007 from 2:00 until 3:00 pm. A memorial service will commence at 3pm and dogs are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to The Humane Society in Susan’s name.
