Tony Padgett

Tony Padgett, a resident of Jacksonville Beach, FL, passed away on August 15, 2011 at the age of 60. Tony was born on the 7th of June 1951 in Toombs, County, GA. As a child he moved to Jacksonville, FL where he grew up. Tony had worked for Taylor Concrete for several years. He loved the Jacksonville Jaguars football games, watching NASCAR races and fishing. Everyone knew Tony as a kind and gentle person. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Padgett and brother, Terry Padgett. He is survived by his mother, Betty Purvis; daughter, Lisa Padgett; son, Christian Padgett; brother, Jerry Purvis; sister, Diane (Richard) Evitt; nephews, Matthew Evitt and Jay Purvis; nieces, Candice and Brandy Purvis, Shelly and Sherry Padgett; great-niece, Brianna; great-nephews, Xavior and Jeremiah, as well as other family and friends. The family would like to thank The McGraw Center of Community Hospice for their loving care and tremendous support during this difficult time.
