Evelyn B. Cooper

Evelyn B. Cooper, 93, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011. She was born on October 5, 1917 in Clay County, Florida to parents Charles and Idell Moody Priest. Mrs. Cooper was a life long resident of Clay County. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Green Cove Springs and was very active in her community and in Real Estate. She was a member of the Green Cove Springs Elks Lodge 1892, the Democratic Party and active in her local government. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Green Cove Springs Garden Club. Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband Joe Cooper and she is survived by her daughter, Linda (John) Long; sister, Ester Durs; grandchildren, Randy (Erin) Long and Ryan Long.
