Nannie O. Bailey

Nannie O. Bailey, 84, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 30, 2007. She was born on November 8, 1922 in Mobile, AL to parents, Burle and Frankie Bohannon. Mrs. Bailey was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. We celebrate with her as she enters God’s Kingdom. Mrs. Bailey enjoyed Gospel music and will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. J.T. Bailey, her son, Larry J. Bailey and a daughter, Judy B. Hunton. Survivors include her daughters, Linda J. Bailey and Juanita B. Green (Lonnie); sister, Inez Satterfield (J.B.); 21 grandchildren; many more great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, July 2, 2007 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in the Chapel of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home with Reverend Timothy Nelson officiating. Entombment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
