Justa Romulo Bala

Mrs. Justa Romulo Bala, 92, of Middleburg, FL, passed away Monday, September 12, 2011. She was born on July 19, 1919 in Luisiana, Laguna, Philippines to parents, Julian and Francisca Romulo. She was a dressmaker and had lived in the local area since 2007, moving here from New York. Mrs. Bala was of the Catholic faith and was a very sociable person. She loved her family, ballroom dancing, parties and was active in Women’s Clubs over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, Maximo Bala who died in 2003. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Wilbur R. Bala (Esperanza) and Rienzi Bala; daughters, Liberty B. Sabino (Mario) and Jocelyn Bala; grandchildren, Leizl, Jennifer, Kristine, Marybeth, Warren, Gretchen and Shannen and great-grandchildren, Mira, Tristan, Zorin, Jarren and Jack. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, September 16, 2011 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Fr. Rene Robert officiating. Visitation with the family until 9:00 pm will follow the service.
