Claud A. Brown

Claud A. Brown, 61, of Orange Park, FL, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007. He was born on January 15, 1946 in Rotan, TX. Mr. Brown was a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, serving his country for 27 years as well as being a Vietnam War Veteran. He was of the Protestant faith and loved his computer and his Eclectus bird, Elvis. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his son, David R. Brown and is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Carmelita Brown; daughters, Diane and Mary Ann; sister, Beverly Morgan and 4 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, July 9, 2007 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery, Green Cove Springs.
