Russell Coleman, 60, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Monday, October 17, 2011. He was born on September 22, 1951 in Grundy, VA to parents, Corbett and Ruby Jean Coleman. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and Purple Heart recipient, serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. He had worked as a truck driver and was a member of the Green Cove Springs Church of God. Russell loved motorcycles and was a former member of the St. Augustine H.O.G. Chapter. He loved his trucks and especially loved his family and friends. Russell was preceded in death by his father, Corbett Coleman and is survived by his mother, Ruby Jean McMillan; his wife, Ninetta Coleman; daughters, Crystal Lynn Coleman and Tiffany Faith Coleman; brothers, Michael, Doug and Dale Byars; sisters, Linda Lafferty, Debbie Trump, Sheila Looper and Carol Byars; grandchildren, Jordan, Alexis and Dylan Coleman, Dakota and Drake Stacy and Makayla Coleman; mother-in-law, Ruby Mae Coleman; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Easter Ball; nephews and nieces, Brian (Amy), Kevin, Candace, Sabrina, Janelle and Nicholas as well as several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, October 21, 2011 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, October 22, 2011 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Larry Hall officiating.
