Ernest Leonard "Pompy" Scarabin

Ernest Leonard “Pompy” Scarabin passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 in Triumph, LA four days shy of his 64th birthday. Born in New Orleans, LA on July 15, 1943 to the late Louis Melvin, Sr. and Gertrude (Breaud) Landry Scarabin. Beloved husband of the late Lillian Cercy Scarabin. Brother of Louis Melvin “D.D.”, Jeffrey Mervin “Buzzy”, James Randolph “Jimmy”, Judith Ann “Judy” Willig, Minos Paul and the late Charles Reynolds “Charley” and Wayne Michael Scarabin. Pompy served in Vietnam in January of 1967. We are very saddened by the loss of our loveable uncle, son, brother and friend, Pompy. Uncle Pompy made the best lemon pie on the planet! Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Peoria Cemetery, Orange Park, FL. Please sign the family’s online register book at www.broadusraines.com.
