Janie Marie Bauer

Janie Marie Bauer, 34, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011. She was born on December 8, 1976 in Orange Park, FL to parents James and Geraldine Looney. Janie enjoyed playing volleyball, softball and kickball with her friends. She loved Key West, Florida and girl’s night out with her girl friends. In her spare time she enjoyed baking cakes and cookies for her family and friends. She was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. Janie was a selfless person who was an advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness, The Humane Society and the USO Club. Janie will always be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. She is survived by her parents; grandparents, Jim and Wanda Stacy; beloved friend, Francis Mullaney; son, Chandler Scott Bauer; brother; Jason Looney and his wife Julianne; nephew, Jayden Looney; and her much loved companion, her dog “Blake” as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held in her honor at 6:00 pm Friday, October 28, 2011 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Jeth Looney officiating.
