James Kenneth Hall, 83, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007. He was born on February 28, 1924 in Green Cove Springs, FL to parents Virgil and Ella Hall. Mr. Hall worked for Civil Service at Lee Field for 5 years and at NAS Jacksonville for 20 years. He was a devoted member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his children, James G. Hall, Karen L. Spencer and James K. Hall, Jr. and one brother, Carol K. Hall, all of Lincolnton, NC; grandchildren, Rhonda J. Albano of Jacksonville, NC; Donna J. Woodie, Shawnna L. Hendricks and Brenda A. Hall, all of Lincolnton, NC; Brenda S. Mayberry of Iron Station, NC; Phillip C. Hall of Dever, NC and Scott D. Hall of Atlanta, GA; great-grandchildren, Michael A. and Heather Albano, of Jacksonville, NC; Ashley N. and Kassie N. Woodie of Iron Station, NC; Tammy R. Hall of Vale, NC, Leroy S. Hall of Atlanta, GA, Kelly L. and Amanda D. Smith of High Shoals, NC, Tristan M. Smith and Crista E. Hall, both of Iron Station, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, July 20, 2007 in the chapel of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday July 21, 2007 in the chapel of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home with Reverend Glenn Tillis and Reverend Tim Hall officiating.
