Hazel Mary Tennity

Hazel passed away October 26, 2011 at the age of 88. She was born to Adolphus and Mary Harrison August 15, 1923 in Rochester, New York. Hazel married Mr. Louis Tennity on January 31, 1942. They had three children, Patricia, Pauline and Roberta. She was employed as a bank teller for South California First National bank retiring in 1979. She also worked as a waitress at the Town & Country Hotel for 15 years. Hazel became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose in January 1973 when she joined Kearney Mesa, San Diego, California Chapter #1337. After much work, dedication and enjoyment, she received the Academy of Friendship Degree in 1981, College of Regents Degree in 1984 and her Star Recorder Degree in 1991. Hazel came to Moosehaven on March 30, 2004 where she resided for 7 years. Hazel is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Tennity of Anchorage, Alaska, Pauline Hemphill of Wickenburg, Arizona and Roberta Woolley of Chiloquin, Oregon, Six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
