Charlotte Forest

Charlotte Rhodes Forest, 80, of Fleming Island FL, passed away following a brief illness Monday, November 7, 2011. Born in Abbeville, MI on May 10, 1931, Charlotte was the eldest of four children to Francis and Eugenia Rhodes. She is survived by her husband of 34 years Jerome Forest; daughters Lynn Hutton of Flagler Beach, Linda Leggett and Patricia Boyer of Jacksonville; step-children John Forest, Holly Dutcher, and Jennifer Flanagan of Orange Park; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; ten nieces and nephews, brother Francis Rhodes of Memphis, TN and sister Barbara Nelson in Como, MS. Charlotte was preceded in death by a son William Michael Boyer, her parents and a sister Peggy Rhodes Woods. She retired from First American Title in 1989 to pursue multiple endeavors which included shrimping, trucking and helping raise her grandchildren. She is loved and will be tremendously missed. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
