Louis Germain Lasne

Louis Germain Lasne passed away November 13, 2011 in Orange Park, FL at the age of 87. He was born to Louise and Germaine Lasne on April 10, 1924 in Sable Sarthe, France. Louis worked as commercial fisherman and had his own business. After he retired from the fishing business, he upholstered furniture. He married Joyce Blanton on February 16, 1944 in Charleston, South Carolina. They had three sons, Louis, John, Charles and two daughters Joyce and Lottian. Louis became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose in 1978 when he joined the Nassau, Florida Lodge #2352. Louis and Joyce came to Moosehaven on June 5, 2007 where he resided for 4 years. Joyce preceded him in death on April 13, 2009. Memorial Services held Friday, November 18, 2011 at 1:30 PM in the Moosehaven Chapel. Services conducted by Rev. Helen Taylor and Opportunity Chapter. He will be laid to rest in Old St. Andrews Episcopal Church Cemetery, Charleston, South Carolina. He is survived by his children Louis, John, Charles Lasne, Joyce Scott and Lottian Mousseau.
