Samuel Cramer, 69, went home to be with the Lord on December 5, 2011. He was born in Carnegie, PA on May 11, 1942 to parents, Samuel and Helen Cramer. He was one of eight children and joined the United States Navy at 17 years old. He traveled the world and retired after 24 years of service as a Master Chief. Having lived in Jacksonville for 18 years, he found a piece of Heaven in Lake Asbury. He was married to Mary, the love of his life, for 47 years. His pride and joy were his family which includes his children, James Cramer (Carey) and Heather Parker (Milton); his mother, Helen Cramer; mother-in-law, Nadine Steffan and his grandchildren, Ben, Daniel and Cameron. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle and he will be greatly missed by his many friends and church family. He always said he wanted to be known as a good man and he was that, a “good man”, a loving husband, father and grandfather.
