Leo Slaughter

Leo Slaughter, 58, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011 after a heroic battle with cancer. Leo was born in Jacksonville, Florida on July 15, 1953 to parents William and Mary Slaughter. Leo was a life long resident of Jacksonville. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved animals and life itself. Leo was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William, Jr., RK, Bobby and Merrill Slaughter and sisters, Joyce Crews and Dot Crawford. He is survived by his brothers, James (Elsie), Billy, Tom, Mike and Johnny (Janis) Slaughter; sisters, Mary Reed, Brenda Howard and Barbara (Donald) Fussell as well as many other family members and lifelong friends who loved him. Rest in Peace Brother We Love You. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Thomas Jefferson Civic Center 8237 Nevada St. Marietta, FL with Reverend Leon Edenfield officiating.
