Donald Gene Norman

Donald Gene Norman, 46, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on January 7, 2012. He was born in East Prairie, MO on October 14, 1965 to parents Woodroe and Willie Bea Norman. Donald has lived in Green Cove Springs for the past 16 years moving here from South Florida in 1996. One of his greatest accomplishments was achieving finish operator on heavy equipment, but his passion was working on the backhoe. He enjoyed fishing, football and NASCAR racing. Donald loved riding his motorcycle and enjoying the sunshine on his front porch. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Donald is survived by his mother, Willie Bea Norman; brothers, Jimmy (Danielle) Norman and Danny Norman; sister, Debbie (Bill) Dupree; girlfriend, Lisa Stewart and his companion his dog “Gee”. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 15, 2012 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
