Chris Ayers

Chris Ayers, 23, of Middleburg, FL, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012. He was born on March 3, 1988 in Jacksonville, FL. He worked for Bennett Buildings and was of the Baptist faith. In his free time he enjoyed surfing. Chris will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include his father, Lee Ayers; mother, Lisa Griffis; daughter, Emilee Michelle Ayers; girlfriend, Tiffany Perine; brother, David Griffis; caregivers, Annette Ayers and Amanda French and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 13, 2012 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Minister Mark Sellers officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am Friday until service time. Interment will follow in Peoria Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family politely requests donations be made to the funeral home for expenses.
