Bill Halcomb

Bill Halcomb, 62, of Fleming Island, FL passed away on January 23, 2012 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born on October 13, 1949 in Middletown, OH to Arnold and Stella Halcomb. Bill had served his country honorably in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son. Before his illness he was active and enjoyed his involvement with Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida. He was an active motorcyclist and enjoyed riding his Harley. A real “family man”, Bill loved being with his children and grandchildren boating and waterskiing. He was also a member of the American Legion. Bill is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Tobhe Halcomb; son, Mark Halcomb; daughter, Valerie (Michael) Madden; grandchildren, Natalie Halcomb, Matthew Halcomb, Ashley Christian, Amanda Christian, Clayton Halcomb, Abigail Madden and Samantha Madden, all of Fleming Island, FL; parents, Arnold Halcomb of Lebanon, OH; mother, Stella Short of South Lebanon, OH; brother, Todd (Margo) Halcomb of Hamilton, OH and sisters, Tammy (Gary) Stevens of Lebanon, OH and Elizabeth (Todd) Carter of Oregonia, OH.
