Lloyd W. Johnson, 91, of Keystone Heights, FL passed away Friday, August 17, 2007. He was born to parents Arthur B. and Luella H. (White) Johnson on December 9, 1915 in Winchester, CT. He has lived in Florida since 1958 and moved to Keystone Heights two months ago from Deerfield Beach, FL, his home of over 10 years. Mr. Johnson was of the Episcopalian faith and a member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Sanford, FL. He honorably served his nation in the National Guard and received a Bachelor of Dairy Science degree from University of Connecticut. He worked as a Quality Control Supervisor in the dairy industry and also held a real estate license. Mr. Johnson had been a Freemason for over sixty five years, having joined Mount Vernon F&AM Lodge #8 in Morrisville, VT. Lloyd loved to learn and was an avid reader. His passions were his pets, but his greatest love was his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of fifty five years, Vera G. Johnson; his parents, Arthur and Luella; and brother, Robert Johnson. He is survived by two sons: Lloyd W. Johnson, Jr. (Jane) of San Antonio, TX and Michael A. Johnson (Patricia) of Keystone Heights, FL; two daughters: Marilyn Stokes (Ronnie) of Beverly Hills, FL and Beverly Young (Raymond) of Miramar, FL; ten grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Sanford, FL on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 1:00 pm.
