Ruth E. Scanlon

Ruth E. Scanlon, 80, of Fleming Island, FL passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2012. She was born on May 26, 1931 in Dedham, Massachusetts to parents Wilfred and Theresa (Cooper) Belanger. Ruth moved to the local area in 2007 from Orlando, FL. Mrs. Scanlon was of the Catholic faith. Ruth will always be remembered as being outspoken, animated, a joke teller and had an excellent sense of humor. She is survived by her son, Michael R. Scanlon; daughter, Dolores R. Foster; grandchildren, Carly D. McCollum (Charles) and Katie Keller (Bob) and 4 great grandchildren.
