E.J. Boyce

E.J. Boyce, 67, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2007 in Green Cove Springs, FL. Born to parents Ephriam Jordan and Gertrude Boyce on November 6, 1939 in Hertford, NC, he lived all of his life in North Carolina until he moved to Florida in May, 2007. He married his beloved wife, Vickie Richards, on March 4, 1984 and he attended Yeopim Baptist Church in Hertford, NC. Mr. Boyce was a member of Loyal Order of Moose in Edenton, NC and enjoyed fishing, football, racing and NASCAR. He was known for his excellent cooking and he loved to eat. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. E.J. is survived by his loving wife of twenty three years, Vickie Boyce; his daughter, Amy Brooks (Clinton) of Norfolk, VA; four step-children: Robert McCoy (DeeDee) of Hampton, VA, Terresa Redfern (Dennis) of Jacksonville, Rebecca Rohrer of Benson, NC, and Connie Fleming (Julian) of Crestwell, NC; fifteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
