Dorothy Mae Berry

Dorothy Mae Berry, 93, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2007. She was born on October 31, 1913 in Blue Springs, GA to parents, John and Emily Daley, Sr. Mrs. Berry was a homemaker and a member of Hibernia Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs, FL. She had lived in the local area for 6 years, moving here from Rincon, GA. Mrs. Berry was a past Worthy Matron in the Order of Eastern Star in Springfield, GA and was active in Sunday school and church in Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Berry and is survived by her sons, Joseph William Berry (Bobbi) of Cayce, SC and George Berry (Joyce) of Green Cove Springs, FL; brothers, John Daley, Jr. of Sylvania, GA and Gilbert Daley of Pasadena, TX; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Rincon Cemetery, Rincon, GA with Reverend Bob Parrish officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Hibernia Baptist Church Building Fund, 7100 Hwy. 17 So., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
