Joseph A. Ciambrone

Joseph A. Ciambrone, 75, of St. Augustine, FL, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2007. He was born on May 20, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA to parents, Thomas and Felicia Ciambrone. Mr. Ciambrone was a retired Petty Officer 1st Class in the United States Navy and was a Korean War Veteran. He worked as a court reporter and then as a mail carrier in Hamilton, OH. Mr. Ciambrone was in the Knights of Columbus in Hamilton, OH and moved to the local area from there in 1998. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Fleming Island, FL and was an avid reader and enjoyed computers. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Jamie Cook and is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Nancy Ciambrone; daughters, Denise Lazo (Ciceron), Nancy Ciambrone (Dan Krause) and Jody Spencer; sister, Mary Zarroli; grandchildren, Benjamin, Christopher, Nicholas, Tanya, Thomas, Francis (dec.), Nathaniel, Jane-Isabella, Sarah and Joseph and great-grandchildren, Trent, Kensley, Drew and Austin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Donal Sullivan as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 7190 Hwy. 17 So., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
